Lakeview Park retains and has kept the grace and grandeur of an earlier time. It is a 1920s era, residential subdivision. While many Asheville neighborhoods have undergone change Lakeview has kept its beauty and prospered. It is centered around Beaver Lake which was created in the 1920s. The residents of this community are collective owners of this lake and surrounding common grounds. There is a beautiful walking trail and wildlife sanctuary which are open to the public.
