Seller Scoop:
The Seller Scoop is a personal look at what the current owners have loved most about living in this home and community.
- View: The upstairs guest bedroom offers a lovely glimpse of the mountain peaks, and the morning light streaming in makes it such a cheerful way to start the day. In the living room, opening the curtains in the morning fills the whole downstairs with a warm, bright glow.
- Room: One of my favorite simple pleasures has been stretching out on the living room couch after a long day, listening to music and truly relaxing. On nice days, I also enjoy a leisurely walk around the neighborhood loop—it’s a great way to unwind while soaking in the fresh air.
- Walk: There are two loops around the neighborhood that make for great walks. The outer loop has a bit of a workout climb, which feels especially refreshing in the crisp mornings of spring and fall. Along the way, you can catch mountain views in the distance. There’s also a track at Erwin High School nearby, which is nice for an easy lap or jog.
- Hike: The Blue Ridge Parkway is close enough for day trips on the trails. The North Carolina Arboretum is one of my favorite spots. It’s nearby and has some beautiful trails to explore as well.
- Favorite local spot: West Asheville has such a fun energy, and I’ve enjoyed exploring the shops, restaurants, and coffee spots along Haywood Road.
- Breakfast: Wynn’s Diner, just down the hill, is a favorite go-to spot for a hearty breakfast.
- Lunch: Tony’s Pizza on Leicester Highway is perfect for a casual lunch and always hits the spot.
- Dinner: We’re spoiled for choices when it comes to dinner. There are plenty of great restaurants on Haywood Road in West Asheville, and downtown Asheville is just a quick 12-minute drive away.
- Neighborhood:
The neighborhood is peaceful and welcoming, with pleasant road loops for walking and a nice sense of community.
- Pub/Wine Bar: Noble Cider and Mead Taproom on Leicester Highway is a great nearby spot to relax and enjoy a drink.
- Living in our home has been…
Living in this home has been the best of both worlds. It's a convenient location that’s far enough from the hustle and bustle of Asheville to feel peaceful, yet close enough to downtown, the Arboretum, the Biltmore, and the Blue Ridge Parkway to easily enjoy everything the area has to offer.
