Dawn blends creative insight, meticulous attention to detail, and inventive problem-solving to facilitate seamless business management.

 

Growing up in Wisconsin, Maryland, and Georgia, Dawn landed in Asheville in 1993 after graduating college. With a degree in art, she kept a studio as a painter in the river arts district while working the business side of her husband's restaurant. While raising 2 children, Dawn stepped out of the restaurant, moved her studio home, taught after-school art classes and later started working for a non-profit in operations & finance.

 

With an astute understanding of both art and entrepreneurship, Dawn has integrated her passion for painting with a robust skill set in business and finance that she brings to the Nest team.

 

When not at work or in the studio, you can find Dawn hiking, camping, or spending time in her gardens.
